Summer Solstice

As Summer begins in the Northern Hemisphere, our ongoing Green Oasis Now theme is Common Sense applied.

Mother Nature continues to suggest that we pay attention to changing weather patterns.

Changing weather patterns, including wind direction, are variously introducing excessive precipitation — rain, snow or hail — as well as temperature variations from that which was formerly a “normal” range.

Increasingly, homes which were reliably comfortable are becoming vulnerable to the whims of Mother Nature.

In most homes within a four-seasons climate, the most significant features for maintaining a comfortable environment are those which are not visible — structural integrity and weather imperviousness being the most basic.

It is not expected that the weather extremes are likely to moderate.  Instead, it is now being demonstrated, again and again, that it’s time to take a closer look at how we interact with Mother Nature’s world.  This includes cooperating with Nature’s clear suggestions, and planning accordingly.

Applying Common Sense, we have refined to completion our building method which will readily create all the features that we envision and find essential.

The exterior of this dwelling, superbly strong, is undisturbed by wind or excessive precipitation.

Outdoors heat or cold, or wet or dry, cannot have an influence on the uniquely insulated structure.

Instead, in all seasons, the indoors ambiance is stable — a comfortable year-round temperature, humidity level, and with fresh air purified.

The integrated systems — power and more — we may write about in a forthcoming blog.

Indoors and outdoors, this Green Oasis Now dwelling will well demonstrate Harmony with Nature created by Common Sense applied with meticulous attention to detail.
